I’ve posted a bunch of different pictures in the gallery, under July folder, but haven’t gotten a chance to write a single line in a long time. There are pictures from the notorious 4th of July in Ptown, Sue’s beach house and my new work place. In the pix from Ptown can be seen how agreeable NY is to my diet, I lost about 15lbs, grant it, I was unemployed and had a lot of time for fitness and exercise. Ptown 4th of July 07
I missed Sue’s annual beach party this year because I was supposed to start work at AboveNet on Wednesday, July 18, and the party was on Sunday the 15th. After 2,5 months of keeping myself busy and unbored without working I was ready to go back to work. Thus, when HR informed me on Tuesday that it’d be best if I start on the following Monday, July 23, I almost had a heart attack; I wasn’t prepared to stay idle for another 5 or 6 days, with nothing to do. I got in my car and drove to the Cape.

It was my last free period of time with nothing to do! Despite the horrible cold that I was fighting I had an amazing time hanging with Joan like in the old days. This mini vacation also gave me a chance to hang out with Kate and go to Sue’s beach rental where they had the party. Sandwich, Cape Cod

I was very keen to start work and get my schedule in order and now I have it. I’ve been spending the weekends in Manhattan, hanging out with Claudio and some other new acquaintances, which leaves me with Monday through Thursday to catch up on the rest. My working days and diet look something like that:

7:00am Rising and getting ready for the day.
8:00am driving to work.
8:30 at my desk and work.
10:00am protein shake.
12:30pm lunch with colleagues – usually my salad sometimes with soup.

4:00pm Daily meat with veggies (usually starchy)
Work, work
6:00-6:30 BCAA drink and PCF (Putia, Chantata, I Franzelite).
6:45 walk across the street to pick up my gym bag from my car and hit the gym.
8:00-8:30 Drive home
9:00pm Dinner – Salad with tuna, egg whites or meat, with tofu and fruit with yogurt for dessert.
9:30 to midnight email and- bill catch up, cooking, cleaning, and reading; still no TV.
